Childhood memories inspired Danny de Braekeleer's Scania 111 . .
When I was a little boy, in the center of the village where we lived was a hauler by the name of Ringoot. They drove 5 Scania’s. Two LB110 trucks and 3 bonneted Scania’s. In their dark red and black colors, they looked very impressive and as a little boy, they fascinated me a lot. Every Sunday, I tried to convince my dad to take me to the market place where the trucks were parked. Maybe there already, the truck (and Scania) virus caught me. They transported all kinds of goods, from steel to vegetables and beer, depending on the season.
